Obviously, there are many possible variations, and similar designs should be made for women. For those interested in making these, preliminary market testing shows that these will be very popular, “flying off the shelves” and present an unprecedented job opportunity for those who are still struggling with the economy, and looking for extra income. Thrift stores have plenty of suits for $5 to $15, and lots of people have suits, shirts and ties that they don’t wear any more.
We give you the step-by-step instructions on how to make them. We give you the places to get the clothing, all the tools and materials, and a realistic cost break down for each Facsuit. You are free to come up with your own variations. Once you’re organized, you can make a Facsuit in as little as 15 minutes, and sell it for $30 – $250, whatever the buyers are willing to pay.
How to Sell It
We give you a free store. First you register as a seller [see below], providing the information required, and paying for at least one ad. That makes you a Seller, putting you in our system. As a Seller, you login directly to your online store to upload or make changes to your ads, and other things. Becoming one of our Sellers also entitles you to our free marketing assistance, information, and resources.
Once you make a Facsuit, take a picture of someone wearing it as it would look on screen, out to the shoulder ends, with one or both sleeves in place. If it looks like they are really wearing a suit, you did it right. If not, fix it. Take several pictures and pick the best. The buyers decide by this picture.
You decide the price. If you don’t know, start with what YOU would pay for this. You can always change it. For the ad and to enable our Facsuit.com system to direct the Buyers to what you are selling, identify the features [e.g., men’s blue, medium, single breasted]. You should save each one on your own computer.
Then, you are ready to upload. You can upload as many Facsuits as you have paid ads. Pay for 5 ads to sell 5 Facsuits.

In the beginning, we are asking potential Buyers to “put in their order,” identifying the kind, size, style, color and price range they are looking for. We make that information available to you in a summary form, like giving you the answers for a test. You don’t have to guess what kind to make. For example, if 25% want a dark gray, medium, single-breasted Facsuit in the $65 range, if you make such a Facsuit in that price range, you will probably sell it. Give them what they want, and you will succeed. Supply = Demand.
This information will continue for you as a Seller. As overall sales grow, we can show you with better accuracy what Buyers are looking for, what is selling and trends. For example, Facsuits might start off as a comic gag, but then be taken seriously, leading to a demand for the fancier suits. What they save on dry cleaning alone justifies a nicer Facsuit. We will keep you informed of these trends, so that you can continue to satisfy exactly what is demanded.
Facsuit.com will be getting feedback from various sources which can be shared with you. Comments about how they were treated, how problems were resolved, what was appreciated, and what was not. In a brand new product like the Facsuit, there are unforeseen problems that may arise, and you need to know what they are so you don’t make the same mistake. The measure of a business is not whether a problem occurs, but how they handle it. In an age of Yelp, goodwill is priceless.
We can also send out a special reminder to Buyers who said they wanted a particular combination of things in a Facsuit, that you still have for sale. We can’t give you their contact information, which we promised to keep secret, but we can tell them to check out your store.

Although you are technically competing with other Sellers, we are all a team, working together to change the way people do things, and to make this a growing industry. If you come up with an idea for a better way to make the Facsuit, we ask that you share it with the group. You will get personal credit for your innovation, announced to all the other sellers, gaining you their respect and appreciation. It may not put money in your pocket, but money isn’t everything. Some of the other Sellers may want to join your team, because you are clever and have good business insights.
We will also be looking for resources and group rates, such as best prices for boxes, suit manufacturers getting rid of their seconds for a low price, online accountants to help you easily handle the paperwork of being in business, and even finding people ready to work for you to increase your operation.
Promotion
Part of the $5 you pay for the ad will go into promotion of the Facsuit.com website, so you will get more and more customers. As it grows, more funds will be available to do that, starting from social media and working toward TV ads and other public broadcasting. A rising tide lifts all boats.
